Ophthalmology Update is an International Scientific Journal,  being published on  quarterly  basis from Islamabad, Pakistan. It is  an official journal of Peshawar Medical College  and is affiliated with the Rawalpindi Medical University  as well as Riphah International University, Islamabad. The journal is approved and indexed  by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council, EBSCO (USA), and International Standard Book Agency, Department of  National Libraries, Government of Pakistan   and  International Agency ISSN (vide. No: ISBN-978-969-7690-00-08  & ISSN 1993-2863,) as an  international standard scientific journal. It  is also registered with the Government of Pakistan  vide Press & Publication Ordinance’98  vide No:  3405/2/63  and  ABC  certified by the Press Information Department, Govt. of Pakistan. The journal has two sections (i) Ophthalmic (ii) General Section.

 The journal  is regularly published under the guidance of  a highly experienced Board of Editors who had a long  experience of  journalism and are  medical teachers.  The journal  is circulated freely  to the participants of  various  medical conferences being held from time to time.  The Journal publishes original research papers, articles, reviews, case reports, news &  views and reports  of the scientific developments in the field of Medicine around the world. It   is  peer-reviewed publication   It is the  policy of the  Ophthalmology Update to especially  guide and encourage the  young  doctors  to  step into the field of research.
